During the holiday of April 30th and May 1st, workers on the construction site of the Ring Road 4 project through the districts of Dan Phuong and Hoai Duc (Hanoi) worked overtime to complete the project on schedule.
According to VTC News, on the construction site of the Ring Road 4 project, contract package number 9 through the districts of Dan Phuong and Hoai Duc (Hanoi), these days, the team of engineers and hundreds of construction workers are still working hard in the sun, working in 3 shifts with 4 teams to meet the project’s progress.
In contract package number 9 through the districts of Dan Phuong and Hoai Duc (Hanoi), workers are speeding up the construction of overpasses and culverts on the route.
In an interview with VTC News, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, Head of Contract Package No. 9 of Ring Road 4 project, said that Contract Package No. 9 is 23km long and passes through two districts, Dan Phuong and Hoai Duc, of Hanoi.
“The unit is meeting the progress that has been committed to the investor. To achieve the set progress, the unit has mobilized over 200 machines and more than 300 engineers and workers to work continuously in 3 shifts every day. During the holidays of April 30th and May 1st, engineers and workers still work. To encourage the engineers and workers, the unit organized a half-day break with a party at the construction site,” said Mr. Hai.
According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hai, the project is still facing some difficulties in site clearance for underground and above-ground works, mainly high-voltage power lines and clean water pipes. The “checkerboard” site makes it difficult to carry out construction work simultaneously.
On the construction site of Ring Road 4, vehicles carrying materials continuously enter and leave during the holiday of April 30th.
Mr. Nguyen Hoang Duoc (from Van Chan district, Yen Bai province) said: “For the Ring Road 4 project, the workload is very large, so during the holidays, the workers are prepared to be away from their families to complete the assigned tasks well. We, the workers, also want to complete the project soon, so we stay to work during the holidays.
Workers are working enthusiastically during the holidays in the scorching sun.
