Bidding for the leasing rights of Resco Tower at 94-96 Nguyen Du (District 1, HCMC) starts at over 200 billion VND

As per the announcement, at 2:30PM on May 9, 2024, Ho Chi Minh City Auction Service Center will organize an auction for the leasing rights of office space in the office building at 94-96 Nguyen Du, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. The property is owned by Saigon Real Estate Joint Stock Company – One Member Ltd.

The auctioned property includes the leasing rights for: Ground floor with an area of 274.2 square meters; 404 square meters of mezzanine; the entire leasable area of floors 2, 3, 4, and 5, each floor having an area of 569 square meters.

The intended use of the above-mentioned leasable areas is for office space. The lease term is 10 years for floors 2, 3, 4, 5, and the mezzanine; and 5 years for the ground floor.

The total starting price for the leasing rights of all the above-mentioned areas is 204,820 billion VND.

The auction will be held in the form of a direct oral auction, with an ascending bid method, and will take place at Ho Chi Minh City Auction Service Center, 19/5 Hoang Viet, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Resco Tower.

It is known that the office building at 94-96 Nguyen Du, with the commercial name Resco Tower, is an 8-story building invested in by Saigon Real Estate Joint Stock Company and put into operation since 2010.

Saigon Real Estate Joint Stock Company is a 100% state-owned company under the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. The company’s function is to invest in the construction of projects, social housing, and resettlement housing for the canal and stream clearance program.

To date, the company has invested in and constructed over 50 housing projects, new urban areas with over 12,000 houses and apartments, and over 10 office building projects; most of the projects are located in the city.
