The new generation Hyundai Palisade has been spotted in the wild by ShortsCar. This was confirmed by a photo of the car’s suspension that displays the letters “LX3,” which The Korean Car Blog believes to be the new Hyundai Palisade’s internal name. The current generation of the car is internally known as LX2.

Based on the photos, the Korean automaker’s large SUV is heavily camouflaged, not revealing many of its design details or specific features.

However, we can have a general idea that the 2026 Hyundai Palisade will have a boxy shape with a front end that slopes down very similarly to that of the “sibling” 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe. The 2026 Hyundai Palisade is expected to utilize a new chassis platform that has a longer wheelbase for a roomier cabin. As a result, the car will become more competitive against other seven-seater rivals, like the Ford Explorer or the VW Teramont, which are both already on the Vietnamese market.

Although the dashboard has been camouflaged, it’s still obvious that the interior design is completely different from the current generation on sale. The door panels strongly resemble those of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric car. Previous spy photos have revealed that the car will have a digital curved display on its dashboard, most likely combining two 12.3-inch screens like the 2025 Santa Fe.

Some other details include a leather-wrapped center console with wood trim, rear climate and seat heating controls integrated into the ceiling, and tweeters with an integrated safe exit assist system.

Rumors surrounding the new-generation Hyundai Palisade’s powertrain suggest that the car will have two options: a 2.5L hybrid engine and a 3.5L turbocharged V6 engine (replacing the current generation’s
