The lavish weddings of Vietnam’s prominent plastic industry heirs, Ong Cao Thang, Minh Nhua, and Minh Dat, offer a glimpse into their immense wealth. The grooms’ choices of luxurious and rare supercars for their bridal processions showcase their affluent backgrounds.

Ong Cao Thang, the heir to Tan Hiep Hung Plastic Company, married singer Dong Nhi in Ho Chi Minh City in November 2019. He arrived in a classic red Fiat 124 Sport Spider convertible, the only one of its kind in the city at the time, valued at approximately $280,200 USD or VND 6.5 billion. The bridal procession also included other luxurious vehicles such as a Cadillac Escalade, Audi, and Mercedes.

Minh Nhua

Pham Tran Nhat Minh, better known as Minh Nhua, is the only son of the Long Thanh Plastic Company’s chairman. For his daughter Joyce Pham’s wedding in September 2019, Minh Nhua spared no expense, arranging a procession of 15 supercars worth over VND 100 billion.

Leading the bridal procession was a Rolls-Royce Ghost valued at around VND 20 billion, followed by other notable supercars such as the Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes-AMG G 63 Edition 1, Bentley Bentayga, Range Rover Autobiography LWB 2019, BMW 7-Series, and Land Rover Discovery.

The bridal procession for Joyce Pham’s wedding included 15 supercars worth billions of VND, led by a Rolls-Royce Ghost valued at around VND 20 billion.

Following closely behind was the Lamborghini Urus SUV, valued at over VND 20 billion, one of the first two Urus models officially imported into Vietnam.

The renowned Mercedes-AMG G 63 Edition 1 was also part of the procession, valued at approximately VND 13 billion.

The procession also included the ultra-luxurious SUV Bentley Bentayga, valued at around VND 10 billion.

The Range Rover Autobiography LWB 2019, valued at over VND 10 billion, was the first SUV in Minh Nhua’s collection.

Recently, Minh Nhua shared a recreation of his marriage proposal to his wife 13 years ago on his Facebook page. This romantic moment was set against the backdrop of the world’s first electric Rolls-Royce Spectre, owned by Minh Nhua himself, estimated to be worth VND 25 billion.
