On July 10, the Quang Binh Provincial Council for the Destruction of Administrative Violation Exhibits proceeded to destroy two cars that were exhibits of administrative violations.

The two vehicles were a green, two-seater Lamboghini with license plate 29U-3817 and a cylinder capacity of 6,500 cc, and a yellow Mercedesbenz G63 AMG with license plate 29A-51976, four seats, and a cylinder capacity of 5,461 cc.

Both vehicles were used, had unclear chassis and engine numbers, and did not meet the technical requirements for roadworthiness.

Previously, in August 2020, the Quang Binh Provincial Police temporarily confiscated a Lamborghini Murcielago and a Mercedes-Benz G-Class when the two cars were suspected of being smuggled during transportation. Neither vehicle had documents proving their legal origin.

Vietnam’s vehicle registration system did not record any data regarding the license plates, chassis, and engine numbers of these two luxury vehicles. The Provincial Police’s Department of Crime Investigation for Corruption, Economics, and Smuggling coordinated with relevant units to handle the confiscation according to regulations.

The destruction of these exhibits of administrative violations was carried out in collaboration with relevant functional units, ensuring objectivity, compliance with regulations, safety, cost-effectiveness, and environmental hygiene.
