The State Audit Office has announced a 60-day audit, commencing on July 24. The audit will cover the following entities: the Management Board of the Project for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works in Hanoi; the People’s Committees of Me Linh, Dan Phuong, Hoai Duc, Thanh Oai, and Thuong Tin districts; the Department of Transport of Hung Yen Province; the People’s Committees of Van Giang, Yen My, Van Lam, and Khoai Chau districts; and the Management Board of Transport Construction Projects in Bac Ninh.

The audit will also cover the following component projects:
Component Project 1.1: Compensation, support, and resettlement (including the expressway system, parallel roads, technical infrastructure, and national railway reserve) under the Investment Project for Construction of the Capital Region’s Ring Road 4 in Hanoi.
Component Project 1.2: Compensation, support, and resettlement (including the expressway, parallel roads, technical infrastructure, and national railway reserve) under the Investment Project for Construction of the Capital Region’s Ring Road 4 in Hung Yen Province.
Component Project 1.3: Compensation, support, and resettlement (including the expressway system, parallel roads, and technical infrastructure) under the Investment Project for Construction of the Capital Region’s Ring Road 4.
Component Project 2.1: Construction of parallel roads (urban roads) in Hanoi under the Capital Region’s Ring Road 4 Project.
Component Project 2.2: Construction of parallel roads in Hung Yen Province under the Investment Project for Construction of the Capital Region’s Ring Road 4.
Component Project 2.3: Construction of parallel roads in Bac Ninh Province under the Investment Project for Construction of the Capital Region’s Ring Road 4.
The audit will focus on verifying the accuracy and reasonableness of the project’s financial information, evaluating compliance with laws and regulations, and assessing the economy and effectiveness of public financial and asset management. It will also identify weaknesses and limitations, providing recommendations for improvement to the audited entities and suggesting adjustments to relevant policies and mechanisms.
Additionally, the audit aims to promptly detect irregularities, corruption, wastefulness, and negativity. It will assign responsibility to collectives and individuals, recommending appropriate handling in accordance with legal regulations. This ensures the efficient and effective utilization of public financial and asset resources.
The audit findings and data will be promptly provided to authorized agencies responsible for inspection, investigation, and supervision of public financial and asset management.
