Dr. Yap Kwong Weng, CEO of SuperPortâ„¢ Vietnam, shared his vision of building a world-class logistics port, integrating advanced technologies, and a sustainable multimodal supply chain network. The port aims to achieve net-zero emissions by 2040, with an initial focus on harnessing clean energy and implementing advanced technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Identifying Key Areas for Strategic Collaboration

Mr. Frederick Chew, CEO of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), and Dr. David Low, Executive Director of the Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), discuss potential areas of collaboration, significantly enhancing Vietnam’s logistics capabilities.
The discussions led to the identification of several key and potential areas for collaboration, including the integration of artificial intelligence and robotics, which will significantly enhance Vietnam’s logistics capabilities and contribute to sustainable development. The strategic cooperation will focus on the rapid deployment of co-created technologies to strengthen Vietnam’s position as a regional logistics hub.
