Incheon Airport Consortium Wins Long Thanh Airport Management Consulting Package

The Incheon International Airport Corporation (South Korea) and PMI Consulting Service JSC (Vietnam) have been awarded the contract to provide consulting services for the management and operation of Long Thanh Airport.

On August 30, ACV signed a contract with the Incheon Airport Consortium, including Incheon International Airport Corporation (South Korea) and PMI Consulting Services JSC (Vietnam), for the “Consultancy on Management and Operation of Long Thanh Airport” package. This marks a significant milestone in ensuring the construction progress of Long Thanh Airport.

After 3 months of dedicated efforts in following the procedures stipulated by the Bidding Law, on August 22, 2024, ACV announced the winning bidder as the Incheon Airport Consortium.

This consortium comprises 2 members, with the leading member being Incheon International Airport Corporation from South Korea, and the second member, PMI Consulting Services JSC, from Vietnam.

Incheon International Airport Corporation is a well-known name in the industry. With a world-renowned reputation for consultancy in airport management and operation, Incheon has left its mark on numerous large-scale global projects. Their advised terminals often receive high praise from both passengers and international aviation organizations.

The second member, PMI Consulting Services JSC, established in 2010 and currently led by Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung as CEO, has introduced themselves as having participated in various projects. These include the role of design consultants for the expansion of Tan Son Nhat International Terminal T2 (Phase I and II), the construction of Cat Bi International Terminal in Cat Bi International Airport, the Cam Ranh International Terminal in Cam Ranh International Airport, and the Danang International Terminal in Cat Bi International Airport.

They have also taken on the role of project supervision consultants for Noi Bai International Airport’s T2 International Terminal, the domestic parking terminal at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, and the cargo terminal at Tan Son Nhat International Airport.

Not only involved in the “Consultancy on Management and Operation of Long Thanh Airport” package, PMI Consulting Services JSC has also participated in multiple other packages of this project:

– Package 2P for the basic design of the Long Thanh International Passenger Terminal under Package 2: Survey and Feasibility Report Preparation
– Package 4.1: Consultancy on Survey and Engineering Design for Airport Infrastructure Works

– Package 5.10: Construction and Installation of Equipment for Passenger Terminal
– Package 7.1: Consultancy on Survey and Feasibility Study Report for Auxiliary Works
– Package 7.5: Consultancy on Survey and Engineering Design for Cargo Terminal No. 1 and Remaining Auxiliary Works
– Package 11.2: Consultancy on Survey and Engineering Design for Parking Lot
