On December 24, at the headquarters of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam in Hanoi, a contract signing ceremony was held for the Investment Project on the Construction and Business of In-Flight Catering Services No. 1 and No. 2 under Component Project 4 at Long Thanh International Airport.

The contract signing ceremony was chaired by Vice Director of the Civil Aviation Authority, Pham Van Hao.

Representing the investors in the contract signing were leaders from the Vietnam In-flight Catering Services Joint Stock Company (VINACS) and the Vietnam In-flight Catering Company Limited (VACS). These two investors were approved by the Ministry of Transport as successful bidders and are also experienced in providing in-flight catering services at airports in Vietnam.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Director Pham Van Hao emphasized the importance of the project to the progress and effectiveness of Component Project 4 under the Investment Project for the Construction of Long Thanh International Airport, Phase 1.

At the same time, the Civil Aviation Authority expressed its hope that after the contract signing, all parties would strictly adhere to the terms of the contract, ensure timely construction progress, and guarantee safety in all aspects of the implementation process, fully complying with regulations on construction, environmental protection, and security and order on the construction site, in order to put the project into operation as soon as possible, ensuring quality and progress as directed by the Government and the Prime Minister.

The leaders of the Authority and the two successful investors affirmed their commitment to maximizing the mobilization of resources to complete the project on schedule. Once completed, the project will contribute to the development of Long Thanh International Airport and strongly promote the economic, social, and tourism growth of the Southern region and the country as a whole.
