Retro Meets Modern Design

Wuyang Honda has recently unveiled a special edition of its 125cc scooter, the NWF125 Gulf Blue. This model captivates with its blend of classic and contemporary styling, drawing inspiration from iconic European scooters like the Vespa. The “Gulf Blue” edition stands out with its mesmerizing sea-blue hue, evoking images of sunlit beaches and shimmering waters, exuding freshness and luxury.

The entire lighting system of the NWF125 features LED technology, including both headlights and taillights. This design not only ensures excellent visibility at night but also enhances the scooter’s modern and refined appearance, complementing its retro aesthetic.

Advanced Features Beyond Standard Scooters

Compared to popular scooters like the Vision or SH Mode, the Wuyang Honda NWF125 boasts significant technological upgrades. It supports smartphone-based unlocking via NFC or Bluetooth, replacing traditional Smartkey systems for added convenience.

Riders can opt for premium add-ons such as a TFT color display, single-channel ABS for the front wheel, and an integrated sports action camera. These features are typically found only on higher-end scooter models.

Performance and Practicality

The NWF125 is powered by a 125cc eSP air-cooled, four-stroke engine, delivering a maximum output of 9.38 horsepower. This engine is praised for its smoothness, responsiveness, and fuel efficiency, with real-world consumption of just 2.2 – 2.3 liters/100km.

The design prioritizes daily usability: a 28cm wide flat footboard, a spacious under-seat compartment, and additional storage options like a front hook and small utility box maximize practicality.

Competitive Pricing and Market Potential

Wuyang Honda offers the NWF125 in China across multiple variants:

Standard (CBS Braking): 9,980 CNY (approx. $1,400)

ABS + LCD Screen: 10,980 CNY (approx. $1,550)

ABS + TFT Screen: 12,700 CNY (approx. $1,800)

ABS Pro (with Rear Trunk): 13,400 CNY (approx. $1,900)

Priced comparably to a Honda Vision but offering European-inspired design and superior technology, the Wuyang Honda NWF125 is poised as a strong contender in the scooter market. If introduced to Vietnam, it could rival even the SH Mode.
