Bank Set to Roll Out Dividend Payout by Late October

This leading financial institution is set to distribute over 132 million shares as dividends to its valued shareholders.

Tien Phong Commercial Joint Stock Bank (TPBank – Stock Code: TPB) has announced October 31st as the final registration date for shareholders to receive a 5% stock dividend. Shareholders owning 100 shares as of the record date will be eligible to receive an additional 5 new shares.

Accordingly, the bank will issue over 132 million new shares to pay dividends to shareholders. The source of funding will be from undistributed profits after provisions as of December 31, 2024, as per the audited consolidated financial statements for 2024.

Following the issuance, TPBank’s charter capital is expected to increase by nearly VND 1,321 billion, from VND 26,420 billion to over VND 27,740 billion.

Previously, at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, TPBank approved a dividend payout plan with a total rate of 15% for the year. The bank has already distributed a 10% cash dividend in May 2025.

This marks the third consecutive year TPBank has paid dividends in both cash and stock.

In 2024, TPBank paid a 5% cash dividend to shareholders, totaling over VND 1,100 billion. The bank also issued 440.3 million new shares as dividends, increasing its charter capital from VND 22,016 billion to VND 26,420 billion.
