With the issuance of each insurance contract, Generali Vietnam will donate a tree seedling, aiming to contribute 50,000 tree seedlings to create a livelihood for the Raglai people in Ninh Thuan…

RECEIVE A CONTRACT, GIVE A TREE SEEDLING

The new Contract Kit is a commitment from Generali, with daily efforts to contribute a bit of “Good for the Earth” starting from small actions.

By changing the production material of the Insurance Contract Kit to an environmentally-friendly type of paper, Generali Vietnam hopes to contribute to balancing the living environment, purifying the air, saving paper to limit tree cutting, and conserving natural forests.

With this change, it is estimated that in 2024, with approximately 50,000 contract kits, Generali can reduce the amount of emissions from 100 transportation vehicles, thanks to the new contract’s design being 90% thinner and 85% lighter than the old version. In addition to the clean and modern production process, which helps save energy and reduce waste to the environment, the new material is also recyclable, contributing to building a sustainable lifestyle.

Especially, with each insurance contract issued and handed to customers from now until December 31, 2024, Generali will donate an aloe vera seedling to the TreeBank non-profit program’s seedling fund under the Development Communication Research Institute, contributing to creating a livelihood for the Raglai people in Ninh Thuan province.

The Raglai people often live nomadically on hillsides in remote areas and have always been among the poorest communities in the country. Due to the characteristics of the sandy soil, the people’s cultivation faces many difficulties. Through a survey by the Development Communication Research Institute, the aloe vera seedling was chosen by Generali to send to the Raglai people because it can be grown on sand and all parts of the plant can be used to produce a variety of products and foods.

Not only changing in material and design, 100% of the documents inside the new Insurance Contract Kit have also been improved by Generali in terms of language and presentation to make them easier to read, remember, and more “pleasant” for customers.
