Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate Pre-order Now Available at Dealerships

Some dealerships in Ho Chi Minh City have started accepting pre-orders for the Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate model. The car will be launched in the Vietnamese market next week with an expected price of 2.89 billion VND. Volvo Vietnam mentioned that the quantities of the S90 Recharge this time are limited, and they are imported from Malaysia.

The introduction of the S90 Recharge is said to be part of the Livelihood Lifestyle Exhibition, which is the first time that it is being held in Vietnam (on March 14 in Ho Chi Minh City). According to the invitation from Volvo Vietnam, the exhibition will introduce the famous Swedish lifestyle concept Lagom through art installations and product displays. Through this, Volvo hopes to bring viewers glimpses of a balanced, positive, and sustainable way of life.

Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate will be launched in the Vietnamese market next week. Currently, it is one of the best-selling models of Volvo in Vietnam, contributing significantly to the strong growth of the Swedish automaker in Vietnam.

How does the Volvo S90 Recharge differ from the current Ultimate version?

In terms of overall interior and exterior, the S90 Recharge Ultimate version does not have too many differences compared to the regular Ultimate.

Regarding the exterior, the most noticeable difference is the addition of an electric charging port on the front left wheel area, similar to the XC60 Recharge and XC90 Recharge. In addition, the car is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels with a completely new design, making their first appearance in Vietnam.

Inside the cabin, the seats are wrapped in Fine Nappa leather. Glossy Black wood is used for the armrests. The crystal Orrefors gear lever is handcrafted. The car is equipped with a 9.7-inch screen with Apple CarPlay connectivity and 19 Bowers & Wilkins speakers with a total output of 1,410W.

The rear seats integrate controls to adjust the front passenger seat forward/backward, open/close the rear window blinds and sunshade, as well as the panoramic sunroof, all electrically operated.

1.4 liters of gasoline consumption per 100 km

In the international market, the Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate uses a combination of a 2.0L gasoline engine and an electric motor, with a power output of 407 horsepower and a torque of 640 Nm. Thanks to that, the car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds. 8-speed automatic transmission.

Previously, according to information from the Vietnam Register, the Volvo S90 Recharge Ultimate uses a plug-in hybrid drivetrain with a fuel consumption rate of 1.4 liters/100 km. This consumption rate is even lower than for common motorcycles like the Honda Wave Alpha (1.72 liters/100 km) or the Yamaha Grande (1.66 liters/100 km).
