On April 27, news from the People’s Committee of Lam Dong province showed that provincial leaders had agreed to a proposal from the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to reopen the Hoa Binh walking street and central streets in Ward 1, Da Lat City. The operating hours are from 7 pm to 10 pm on Saturdays and Sundays every week.

Hoa Binh walking street will have a highlight connection to Da Lat night market, which attracts a large number of tourists.

Lam Dong is also piloting the opening of Tran Quoc Toan walking street, the section adjacent to Doi Cu golf course; The operating hours are from 6 pm to 10 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays every week.

The walking street Tran Quoc Toan, the section adjacent to Doi Cu golf course, is about 1.5 km long from the intersection of Tran Nhan Tong to Dinh Tien Hoang street.

In which, the section adjacent to Dinh Tien Hoang street will connect to the night food area in front of the city flower garden, contributing to creating a connection between the night tourism activities in Da Lat.

The pilot night market will have little impact on traffic in the area because this is a single road, does not intersect with other roads, and traffic participants can easily find alternative routes. This is also the road that Lam Dong province plans to expand (to make a parallel road towards Doi Cu) but has not been implemented yet.

Tran Quoc Toan road is expected to implement a walking street.

Lam Dong provincial leaders assigned the Da Lat City People’s Committee and related departments and sectors to develop plans and assign specific tasks to units to organize these walking streets, in accordance with the province’s night economic development plan.
