It is understood that the 2024 Nissan Almera will continue to be imported as a whole unit from Thailand. This is a mid-life upgrade version of the model and has been launched in the Thai market since May 2023. The new Almera model was also displayed at the Bangkok Motor Show 2024 which took place in March 2024.

What’s New in Nissan Almera 2024?

In the facelift version, the Japanese brand’s B-class sedan has been given a fairly distinct design. The most noticeable change in the new Nissan Almera’s design is the front where the brand’s signature V-Motion grille has been updated to the latest hexagonal interface with large-sized horizontal bars running across the center in a contrasting bright silver against the overall black scheme.

The front of the new Almera is more rugged.

The front bumper has also been tweaked with larger air intakes below, while the fog lights have been repositioned. A new Nissan logo replaces the old one at the center of the grille.

Viewed from the side, the 2024 Nissan Almera features a new set of alloy wheels. The standard version of the car uses 15-inch steel wheels with silver hubcaps, while the higher-end version comes with 16-inch wheels with a sportier two-tone machined finish.

The car’s interior, similar to the exterior, has no new design elements, as the layout remains the same. The next highlight in this model’s features is wireless phone charging, cruise control, and a new remote control key, an 8-inch center screen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, and a 6-speaker audio system.

The overall interior of the Almera facelift does not differ from the old model.

The engine of the new Nissan Almera is still carried over from the old version. It uses a 1.0L turbocharged 3-cylinder gasoline engine, generating a maximum capacity of 100 horsepower and a maximum torque of 152 Nm. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) automatic transmission, allowing the car to consume only 23.3 km/liter (approximately 4.29 liters/100 km) of fuel.

Nissan Almera’s Position in B-Class Sedan Segment?

The Nissan Almera is distributed in Vietnam with 2 versions, priced at 539 million and 595 million VND respectively. Excluding the VW Virtus (949-1.069 million VND), the Almera’s sales price is among the most expensive in the segment, next to the Honda City.

Nissan Almera has been discounted many times at dealerships.

Therefore, the Japanese brand’s B-class sedan often receives significant incentives worth hundreds of millions of VND to increase sales. In April 2024, Almera is being offered a 50% discount on the registration fee,
