The Gilimex Industrial Park centralized wastewater treatment project has a capacity of 7,600 m3/day and night. The total investment is 130 billion, expected to be completed and put into operation from December 2024.

The Gilimex Industrial Park centralized wastewater treatment project is part of the overall synchronized infrastructure development plan of Gilimex Industrial Park, aiming to bring a modern, green, clean, and sustainable industrial park. This is also a prerequisite for the early synchronization of Gilimex Industrial Park, meeting the expectations of the Party Committee, government, and people of Thua Thien Hue province for the development of the socio-economy towards industrialization and modernization as set out.
The centralized wastewater treatment plant at Gilimex Industrial Park is designed and applied with modern, safe technology. When completed, it will ensure the treatment of all secondary investors’ wastewater in the industrial park according to the highest standards of industrial wastewater.

In his speech at the ceremony, the representative of the Provincial People’s Committee of Thua Thien Hue province highly appreciated the efforts and determination of Gilimex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company and the accompanying departments, sectors, and Hue Thuy town People’s Committee, directly the Provincial Economic and Industrial Zone Management Board in accelerating the implementation progress of the project.

At the same time, the representative of the Provincial People’s Committee also proposed that the investor and the construction contractors need to concentrate resources and closely coordinate with the local authorities to organize construction, ensure progress, construction quality, labor safety, preserve the landscape environment of the project, and complete the construction of the wastewater treatment plant according to the planned schedule.

Gilimex Industrial Park Joint Stock Company was established in November 2019, headquartered in Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province. The company is the investor in implementing the Investment Project for the construction and operation of infrastructure of Gilimex Industrial Park with an area of 460.85ha in Huong Thuy town, Thua Thien Hue province. The long-term development goals and orientation of the company are to build a chain of industrial parks in localities nationwide. Up to now, the company has approved investment proposals for two industrial parks in Thua Thien Hue and Vinh Long provinces.
