After completion, the park was abandoned for 4 years and was only put into use in early February 2024.

Representatives of Nam Cuong Group said: The astronomy park includes green trees and water. This is a social work, non-profit, serving the community, so when implementing construction, the investor did not change the total area and purpose of use but adjusted the details of the items between green trees and water in a way that brings more benefits to the community.

The astronomy park is the first park in Southeast Asia with an astronomy theme, open to serve people for entertainment during the Lunar New Year after being abandoned for 4 years.

The Astronomy Park is built with a theme of astronomy that is both research and entertainment-oriented, with an area almost equal to the Astronomical Park in Kazan (Russia) – which is known as the world’s first astronomy park.

The Astronomy Park includes: Bach hop thuy lake with an area of 6 hectares and within the premises are many items built based on the astronomy theme.

Specifically, the Big Bang square is a place that simulates the explosion of the formation of the universe today, with the highlight being the Big Bang tower with a small base, expanding as it gets higher.

The Zodiac square symbolizes the sky, a circle containing 12 constellations in astronomy.

The Milky Way garden is a spiral wall structure, transformed into a mysterious and surreal Maze garden.

The Solar System square has informational signs for children and visitors to better understand the planets around the Earth.

The Alien Square simulates the orbit of the planets in the solar system.

The center of the square is arranged with a UFO symbol in the form of a flying disc and a system of sculptures of extraterrestrial people around the square.

The Black Hole pool is located on the lake surface, forming a circular hole, surrounded by a floating platform and also a boat dock. This is where water activities are organized in the park.

Ms. Huyen – living in the Duong Noi urban area shared: “I am very happy when the park opens after many years of waiting because this area is very lacking outdoor playgrounds for children. I brought the children here to play for both weekends, the children are extremely excited, and the adults also take advantage to exercise in a very wide, spacious, and airy space”.
