On February 20, an agreement on cooperation in training and providing high-tech manpower was signed between Dong A University and Foxlink Electronics Company in Da Nang. This is the next strategic partner in the network of over 500 domestic and international businesses that cooperate in training and employment for students of Dong A University.
According to the signed document, this cooperation increases the dynamic of practical production internships, professional internships, and work for Dong A University students majoring in Chinese Language, Electrical-Electronics, Information Technology, and Automotive Engineering, starting from 2024.
In addition, Foxlink Da Nang will also send staff to participate in training support activities during the course such as career orientation sessions, work skills training, sharing of successful experiences,… as well as prioritize recruitment targets for the annual job fairs of Dong A University. The company also offers many valuable scholarships each year to outstanding students in these majors.
At the same time, both parties are also aiming to cooperate in some research projects and technology applications, which are considered strengths of each party in the near future.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Lin Kofan, the representative of Foxlink Da Nang, stated that Da Nang is a future development focus that Foxlink has planned in Southeast Asia. The factory being built in the Da Nang High-tech Zone is expected to be equivalent in scale to the factory in Ho Nam (China).
Currently, the preparations for the operation of the factory in Da Nang have been basically completed, and all the equipment has arrived in Da Nang. In the initial stage after operation, the factory will mainly produce equipment for Tesla, and then produce components for Microsoft”.
Foxlink Electronics Company in Da Nang officially started operating in September 2023, being a company with 100% foreign investment (about nearly 30 million US dollars). The Foxlink Da Nang Electronics Factory is a project invested by Foxlink International Investment Ltd, Taiwan, with a key field of producing electronic components and high-tech products for large corporations.

Appreciating the personnel working at Foxlink Da Nang who are former students majoring in Chinese Language at Dong A University, Mr. Lin also expressed, “In the future, with a very large demand for personnel, up to 5,000 people, Foxlink Da Nang desires to continue developing cooperation to recruit high-quality human resources trained from Dong A University to work at the company as well as through Dong A University to connect personnel to work for partner units of the company.”
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Ngo Quang Vinh, Vice Rector of Dong A University emphasized: “As the cooperation signed in early 2024 of Dong A University in training and recruitment, the cooperation is also expected to promote stronger and more multi-dimensional cooperation in many aspects, expanding in many strong fields, in order to contribute to the resources of businesses and create an environment for Dong A University students to develop and work…”
Mr. Ngo Quang Vinh also added that from the 2023 graduation ceremony to now, Foxlink Ho Chi Minh also organized 4 direct interviews for nearly 100 fresh graduates and engineers of Dong A University. Through this program, students are recommended to undergo intensive training at branches in China and Taiwan or to be trained in Vietnam to be selected as core personnel working at Foxlink’s branches.
