According to the Straits Times, in the bustling city life, Ocean City is leading the trend of green real estate, attracting sophisticated young generation and customers pursuing a green and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Straits Times describes the perfect life of Johnny Cranston, an English teacher and environmental activist from the US, who moved from the crowded city center to Ocean City 4 months ago.

“That’s 4 months of green living,” he laughed, with the sparkling sunlight on the artificial lake behind him. “I have contributed to environmental protection because my carbon footprint has significantly reduced! Because everything – from the afternoons lying by the pool, to the gatherings with friends – everything takes place right within this enclosed paradise,” Cranston told the Straits Times.

According to the Straits Times, every day after work, Cranston takes a VinBus electric car home. The quiet electric motor replaces the sound of car horns in the city. Just after a 30-minute ride, the closely spaced buildings are replaced by palm trees, escaping the smoky environment.

A destination for the younger generation

In the context of rapidly changing urban landscapes across Asia, Central News Agency of Taiwan (CNA) assesses Ocean City – the metropolis developed by Vinhomes, the largest real estate developer in Vietnam – as a place worth living for everyone.

According to Nguyen Van Toan, a resident who took his family to enjoy the flowers, scenery, and relaxation in Ocean City during the Tet holiday, “The metropolis has seamlessly integrated all utilities, from living, entertainment, schools, healthcare to daily consumption to serve the needs of residents”.

“With modern, luxurious design and intelligent planning, Ocean City has become a place where everyone wants to buy houses and live,” enthused Toan.

In the hustle and bustle of expanding cities, Ocean City has taken the lead in the green trend of real estate, attracting sophisticated young generation and customers pursuing a green and environmentally friendly lifestyle.

Studies have shown that Millennials and Gen Z are increasingly concerned about the environment and sustainability. A study by Deloitte shows that due to climate concerns, 6 out of 10 Millennials and Gen Z individuals are willing to pay more for sustainable products and services.

The Grand World amusement, entertainment, and shopping complex in Ocean City with hundreds of booths and “stunning” scale events has quickly become the top destination for young people in the capital

In agreement with this, according to the Consumer Psychology of Batdongsan.com.vn Real Estate and new trends report, young people prioritize green living spaces and technology, with 50% of those surveyed stating that smart homes will be the future real estate trend. Anticipating this trend, in Ocean City, buildings with a density of less than 30% are harmoniously arranged alongside over 1.5 million m2 of green space. Doing a simple calculation, each resident will have 2 to 4 m2 of fresh air for themselves.

Greening the lifestyle in all-in-one urban areas

“Every time my friends from Thailand ask about life in Vietnam, it brings me joy. I often tell them: ‘Ocean City has everything you can think of, and even more’,” shared Sirirat Jiraporn, a 20-year-old student at VinUni, ranking university of Vinhomes, where she resides.

Ocean City welcomes the sunrise as Sirirat starts her day with a class just 8 minutes’ walk from home. Her day ends when the sunset casts shadows on the blue lake, a serene oasis in the heart of the metropolis.

Ocean City appeals to modern young families as it is the only destination in Vinhomes’ urban system that features VinUni elite university

Sirirat’s life is a perfect combination of studying, entertainment, and enjoying the inspiring beauty. “That’s the miracle of Ocean City,” she said. “From informative lectures to peaceful sunsets, everything is wrapped up in this metropolis, creating an abundant source of energy for both the mind and soul. It has given me a fresh energy boost. This truly is the best place to live on the planet for me.”

According to Technode Global, leveraging its scale, capacity, and position in a country with a population of 90 million and a rapidly developing middle class, Vinhomes has set a goal to pave the way for a happy urban life. Right in the heart of Ocean City is the first artificial beach in the city center. Residents can also enjoy the fresh water lake, opening up a coastal lifestyle in the bustling capital.

“In Ocean City, there is not only a lake and a beach. The meticulously landscaped green spaces are interspersed between apartments and modern villas with beautiful natural scenery appearing outside the window,” the newspaper wrote.

While Johnny rows his boat on the lake, silently admiring the remnants of the sunset painting the sky, he understands that the Ocean City story is just beginning.

The story of this destination city will continue to unfold as more and more people move here to live and work. In fact, the connection to Ocean City will start from the future generations, born right at Vinmec Hospital, growing up in the fresh spaces, and studying at nearby international schools.

“Ocean City embodies a vision of a life full of wonders, inviting people to explore and write a new chapter for the city,” Straits Times concludes.
