On the morning of March 4, at the Inauguration Ceremony of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, Urban Area and Services (Phase 1), Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha pointed out that in order to have land funds for the implementation of the Industrial Park, Urban Area and Services Project, Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh has received many households who have voluntarily given up their land and houses, which has affected their livelihoods.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and comrades in the Central working delegation attended the Inauguration Ceremony of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, Urban Area and Services (Phase 1).

I hope that in addition to the state’s compensation, support, and assurance of people’s livelihoods, investors need to have preferential policies for on-site training and recruitment; arrange resettlement in synchronized urban areas,” Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha emphasized.

Deputy Prime Minister stressed that the inauguration of Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh Industrial Park, Urban Area and Services (Phase 1) is an important event, contributing to promoting the industrialization and urbanization process of Binh Dinh province and turning Nhon Hoi Economic Zone into a dynamic coastal economic zone.

The Prime Minister wants Binh Dinh and Becamex & VSIP to develop green industrial zones, eco-industrial zones, intelligent industrial zones; a place for research, application of science and technology, innovation, circular economic models, knowledge, and low emissions.

Becamex VSIP Binh Dinh project in Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district, invested by Becamex IDC Corporation and VSIP Group – Two major industrial real estate developers in Vietnam.

The project covers an area of ​​1,374 hectares, with a total capital of 7,500 billion VND, belonging to Nhon Hoi Economic Zone. In 1,374 hectares, 1,000 hectares are industrial land and 374 hectares are allocated for resettlement, residential areas, commercial, and service areas.

The goal of the project is to develop a modern industrial-urban area and services, meet the requirements of infrastructure, security, environment, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the locality.

The industrial park will have industries associated with service facilities such as healthcare, education, commercial centers, hotels, restaurants, shopping areas, entertainment, cultural centers, community sports, social housing.

According to Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee Pham Anh Tuan, the locality has many favorable infrastructure conditions such as seaports, airports, 5 national highways passing through, which are conducive to industrial development. Among them, the Becamex project is a big driving force.

In the past time, the locality, along with the people, has cooperated with investors to quickly resolve administrative procedures, complete land clearance,” said Mr. Pham Anh Tuan.

At the inauguration ceremony, Becamex Binh Dinh signed a memorandum of understanding with some potential investors inside and outside the country.

Currently, Binh Dinh is investing, upgrading, and completing economic-social infrastructure to be ready to receive investors, especially the infrastructure of economic zones, industrial zones with a total area of ​​15,300 ha and infrastructure of industrial clusters with a total area of ​​2,940 ha.
