Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines will not operate flights from Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City to Frankfurt, Germany on the evening of March 6 and return flights on the evening of March 7.

Specifically, flights VN37 Hanoi – Frankfurt, VN31 Ho Chi Minh City – Frankfurt on the evening of March 6 will be rescheduled to the evening of March 7. In addition, two flights VN36 Frankfurt – Hanoi, VN30 Frankfurt – Ho Chi Minh City on March 7 will be rescheduled to the evening of March 8.

“Vietnam Airlines deeply regrets the need to change the operating plan due to the strike at the airport and hopes to receive the understanding of passengers in this unexpected situation. Passengers affected by Vietnam Airlines will be supported according to current regulations,” the airline said.

The impact of the strike on flights may continue, so Vietnam Airlines advises passengers who have travel plans or transit from Frankfurt airport during this time to regularly monitor and update flight information to contact support as needed.

It is known that the tourism industry in Germany is preparing to face chaos with railways, airports due to the strike.

According to Reuters, ground staff of Lufthansa will strike for 2 days on March 7-8, which may disrupt the travel plans of thousands of passengers, causing hundreds of millions of euros in damage to the German economy.
