Changpeng Zhao, the founder and former CEO of the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that he will be launching a new project in his statement.
CZ said that the project will not have a new token and will be an educational project. He added that more details will be announced soon.
CZ has been very quiet since stepping down as CEO due to legal pressure from the United States. However, in his farewell speech, CZ also stated that he will stay away from the cryptocurrency field for a while.
Judge Jones ruled that Zhao must stay in the United States and notify the Court’s jurisdiction before traveling domestically.
In addition, as part of the conditions, Zhao must surrender his Canadian passport to a third-party guardian appointed by legal representation. This guardian will accompany Zhao on any travel requiring identification documents.
