On March 20th, in the Bim Son Industrial Park, Bim Son town, Thanh Hoa province, SAB Vietnam Industrial Company, a subsidiary of Weixing Group, held the inauguration ceremony for the SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory.
The SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory began construction in July 2022. The factory covers an area of over 66 hectares and has a total investment of approximately $62 million, equivalent to 1,443,220 billion Vietnamese dong. The factory specializes in the production of garment accessories such as metal zippers, plastic zippers, nylon zippers, plastic buttons, metal buttons…
Once operational, the SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory will provide employment opportunities for over 1,000 skilled workers and is expected to have an estimated annual output value of about $100 million.
In his speech at the ceremony, Nguyen Van Thi, Deputy Permanent Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, emphasized that the operation of the SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory will contribute hundreds of billions of Vietnamese dong to the state budget annually and contribute to the socio-economic development and employment opportunities for local workers. Additionally, the project will contribute to the development of the garment industry by reducing the reliance on imported accessories.
Mr. Thi affirmed that Thanh Hoa province will always accompany the investors in overcoming difficulties and creating favorable conditions for the factory’s operation and effectiveness.
To ensure the smooth operation of the factory, Mr. Thi requested that the Management Board of Nghi Son Economic Zone and the provincial industrial parks actively coordinate with the infrastructure investor of Zone A – Bim Son Industrial Park to promptly address issues related to electricity supply, water supply, and technical infrastructure for the SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory. He also requested their support and collaboration throughout the factory’s operation.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Cai Liyong, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SAB Vietnam Industrial Company, affirmed that the company and the SAB Vietnam Industrial Factory will comply with Vietnamese laws and regulations during their production and business activities.
