According to Mr. Lim Heng, Vice Chairman of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, the global economy is gradually recovering and domestic production capacity is increasing, which has promoted trade exchanges between Cambodia and partner countries. Mr. Lim Heng believes that the surge in export turnover is due to two main factors: First, the domestic production capacity is increasing; second, Cambodia has a large export market due to enjoying tariff preferences with some partners; as well as bilateral and multilateral trade agreements that Cambodia has signed and started to take effect.

Vice Chairman of the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, Lim Heng, expressed his confidence that the country’s export trade turnover will continue to increase in 2024, thanks to diverse, high-quality and competitively priced export items. Currently, in addition to textiles and garments, Cambodia is also an exporter of agricultural products, electronic components, electronics and many essential goods.
