Da Nang seeks to create a 2.8ha Dragon Park

In order to create a fresh new travel check-in point, along with essential public utilities to serve locals and tourists visiting and enjoying themselves, Da Nang has constructed Dragon park with an area of 2.8ha in Son Tra district.

On February 19, the Department of Construction announced that the leaders of Da Nang City People’s Committee had agreed and assigned the Department of Construction of Da Nang City to lead and coordinate with MoNo BoGo Vietnam Company Limited (a socialized investor) and Minh Tuan Tu Consulting and Construction Company Limited (the project’s contractor) to concentrate all dragon mascots and some flower decorations on Plot A* at the intersection of Vo Van Kiet Street and Vo Nguyen Giap Street, with an area of ​​about 2.8 hectares, planned as a financial center construction plot, during the period when the project is not yet implemented according to the plan.

At the same time, co-operating with relevant units and socialized businesses that wish to accompany the city to invest in decorating the Dragon Park and organizing the operation and maintenance of the project items at the park throughout 2024.

The Construction Technical Consulting Center will carry out a preliminary design plan for the temporary construction of the Dragon Park on the mentioned land, ensuring the requirements of architectural landscaping, creating a new and unique tourist check-in point, along with essential public utility services (restrooms, food kiosks, photo shooting and printing service kiosks, outdoor performance stage, management office, security guard house, etc.) to serve residents and visitors for sightseeing and enjoyment.

Regarding the Ly dynasty dragon statue made of Bat Trang ceramics in the area above the T-shaped bridge (opposite 42 Bach Dang Street), the city leaders have agreed to maintain it until the end of 2024, until a dignified and appropriate location is chosen for permanent display.

Who is MoNo BoGo?

MoNo BoGo Vietnam Company Limited was formerly known as Import Alumilium Company Limited, established on November 6, 2017 in Tay Ho District, Hanoi. Its primary business is trading other materials and equipment for installation in construction. Ms. Vu Thi Thuy Lan holds the position of Director cum legal representative and is the owner of the company.

In November 2018, Import Alumilium was acquired by Mr. Nguyen Thien Duc, replacing Ms. Lan in the position. One month later (December 2018), the company changed its name to MoNo BoGo Vietnam Company Limited as it is known today.

At the end of 2022, the company increased its capital from 5 billion VND to 20 billion VND.
