Ending the session of trading on February 27, 2024, the Vn-Index increased by 1.09% to close at 1,237.46 points. The trading value on HOSE reached 22,990 billion dong. The total trading value of the whole market, including all 3 exchanges, reached 25,740.5 billion dong, increasing +10.1% compared to the previous session, +1.3% compared to the 5-day average, and +24.7% compared to the 20-day average.

In terms of sectors, Steel is the sector with outstanding Liquidity and Price compared to the general market. This is a sector with unusual trading between foreign investors (net buying side) and Domestic organizations (net selling side) in HPG stock.

Meanwhile, Real estate, Banking, Food, and Petroleum recorded increases in both price and liquidity. Securities, Chemicals, Agriculture & Aquaculture, Logistics & Maintenance Warehouses, Rubber & Fiber increased in points with decreased liquidity.

Foreign investors net bought 56.9 billion dong, specifically in matched transactions, they net bought 22.8 billion dong. The main net buying of foreign investors in matched transactions was in the Basic Resources and Financial Services sectors. Top net buying of foreign investors in matched transactions includes the following stocks: HPG, SSI, DGC, DIG, VRE, VIX, BID, NVL, SZC, CTD.

The net selling side in matched transactions for foreign investors was in the Banking sector. Top net selling of foreign investors in matched transactions includes the following stocks: STB, VPB, PVD, MWG, VNM, MSN, FUEVFVND, TPB, PC1.

Individual investors net bought 782.5 billion dong, of which their net buying in matched transactions was 905.1 billion dong. Top net buying of individual investors include: VPB, STB, PVD, MWG, VNM, PC1, MSN, TPB, VIC, SAB.

The net selling side in matched transactions: they net sold in 4 out of 18 sectors, mainly in the Financial Services and Chemical sectors. Top net selling includes: VRE, DGC, DIG, BID, HPG, SSI, CTD, HHV, AAA.

Proprietary trading net sold 452.6 billion dong, specifically in matched transactions, they net sold 517.4 billion dong. Specifically in matched transactions: Proprietary trading net bought in 1 out of 18 sectors. The strongest net buying sectors are Construction and Materials, and Telecommunications. The allocation of money flows increased in the Steel, Real estate, Manufacturing & Extraction of Oil and Gas, Textile, Personal Goods sectors, while it decreased in the Banking, Securities, Construction, Agriculture & Aquaculture, Chemical, Retail, Information Technology sectors.

Specifically in matched transactions, the proportion of trading value increased in large-cap sectors, while it decreased in the mid-cap VNMID and small-cap VNSML sectors.
