Xforce Ultimate still without a price, other versions adjust the price

On February 28, 2024, Mitsubishi Vietnam officially announced new prices for Xforce versions. The highest-end Ultimate version (expected delivery in June 2024) has still not been listed since its launch. The remaining three versions, including GLX, Exceed, and Premium (immediate delivery in March), all apply the new prices for both customers who have placed a deposit and those who purchase the car from this moment onwards.

Version Adjusted Price Old Price
GLX 599 million 620 million
Exceed 640 million 660 million
Premium 680 million 699 million
Ultimate

Mitsubishi Xforce adjusts the price just before the delivery period.

With this new adjusted price, Xforce will increase its competitiveness against the two leading competitors in the segment last month, HR-V and Seltos. HR-V currently has a listed price ranging from 699 million to 871 million VND. The price of Seltos ranges from 609 million to 719 million VND. Xforce’s price is currently the lowest in the segment.

Experts believe that with the new price, Mitsubishi Xforce will be able to create a significant pressure on competitors in the B and B+ crossover segments. The Japanese car, fully imported from Indonesia, has advantages in terms of design, freshness, and rich equipment.

Many new features in the segment for the first time

Mitsubishi Xforce was introduced in Vietnam when the segment already had many competitors. The difference of Mitsubishi’s B-segment SUV comes from its futuristic design and the first-time appearance of many features in the segment.

Those who have seen the XFC Concept will not find the Xforce strange. The commercial version’s design is almost the same as the concept version. In the highest-end Ultimate version, the car is equipped with T-shaped LED position lights, LED lighting system, LED underbody lights, LED taillights, and the largest 18-inch wheels in the segment. The standard version uses smaller 17-inch wheels.

The exterior of the Exceed version looks modern and is similar to the Ultimate and Premium versions.

The Ultimate version also has many premium convenience features inside, like the 12.3-inch touchscreen in the center, an 8-inch touchscreen behind the steering wheel, Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium audio, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, rear air vents, nanoeX air filters, USB-C and USB-A chargers, electronic parking brake with auto hold, electric tailgate, and decorative lights. The standard version still retains some modern features such as electronic brake, push-button start, air conditioning with integrated screen.

Although the interior is less equipped than the Ultimate and Premium versions, the Exceed version still has luxurious cabin space.

Xforce’s strong point compared to other B-segment competitors is its off-road capability. The car has an approach angle of 21 degrees and a departure angle of 30.5 degrees. The 1.5L engine combined with the CVT gearbox and 4 driving modes including Normal road, Water road, Gravel road, and Mud road are what differentiates Xforce from its competitors. The active braking control system during sharp turns or bends (AYC) is also noteworthy on the Xforce.

The Xforce’s strength lies in its off-road capabilities.

Mitsubishi brings many modern safety features to the Ultimate version of Xforce, such as adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and mitigation, intelligent headlights and front vehicle departure alert, blind-spot warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. Other safety features include rear parking sensors, tire pressure monitoring system, and reverse camera.

With many different features from its competitors, plus a starting price of 599 million dong, Xforce will be a formidable opponent to the HR-V, the model that topped the segment’s sales last month.
