Cholimex Food aims for revenue of VND3,850 billion in 2024, dividend payout from 15%/par value onwards

Cholimex Food JSC plans to achieve revenue of VND3,850 billion (US$165.2 million) and pre-tax profit of VND320 billion ($13.8 million) this year, up 12.8 per cent and 10.5 per cent, respectively, year-on-year. Regarding profit distribution, CMF plans to pay cash dividends for 2024 from 15 per cent of par value.

Cholimex Food Joint Stock Company (Cholimex Food, stock code: CMF) held its 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on April 24.













In 2024, Cholimex Food’s shareholders approved a revenue plan of VND 3,850 billion and a pre-tax profit of VND 320 billion, representing an increase of 12.8% and 10.5% compared to 2023. Regarding the profit distribution plan, CMF plans to pay cash dividends for 2024 of at least 15% of par value.













Regarding the 2023 business results, CMF’s net revenue reached nearly VND 3,410.4 billion, an increase of approximately 6% compared to the previous year. CMF’s after-tax profit reached VND 232 billion (VND 221.6 billion in 2022).













At the end of 2023, Cholimex Food’s total assets reached VND 1,616.5 billion, an increase of 13% compared to the beginning of the year. Of which, cash and cash equivalents accounted for 28.6% of total assets, reaching VND 463 billion.













Cholimex Food’s total liabilities as of the end of 2023 were recorded at VND 621 billion, of which financial borrowings were VND 184.5 billion.













In another development, on May 10, Cholimex Food will pay the 2023 cash dividend at a rate of 50% (equivalent to shareholders owning 01 share will receive VND 5,000) according to the shareholder list that was closed on March 25. With 8.1 million shares outstanding, it is estimated that Cholimex Food will need to spend VND 40.5 billion to complete this dividend payment.
