In Vietnam, Audi dealers have started accepting deposits for the Audi Q8 e-tron model. According to information from sales consultants, this model will arrive in Vietnam around May 2024 with an expected price of 3.8 billion dong. The imported version is the Q8 55 e-tron.

Previously, at the Singapore Auto Show held in April 2023, the General Director of Audi Vietnam’s distributor also revealed the plan to bring the Q8 e-tron to the country around the end of last year or early this year. Therefore, the information about the upcoming Q8 e-tron in Vietnam has been confirmed beforehand.

The Audi Q8 e-tron is an electric version of the Q8. In Vietnam, another electric luxury car with similar dimensions and price is the Mercedes EQE SUV. The competitor from Mercedes-Benz has a price of 3,999 billion dong, slightly higher than the expected price of the Q8 e-tron.

The dimensions of the Q8 e-tron are 4,915 x 1,935 x 1,633 mm. The wheelbase is 2,923 mm. These measurements are slightly larger than the EQE SUV.

The Q8 e-tron features a softer design compared to the Q8. Details such as the front matrix LED headlights, horizontal LED taillights, and large grille all use more curved lines compared to the Q8. The car on display in Singapore is equipped with 20-inch wheels. This could be a reference version for the upcoming Q8 e-tron in Vietnam.

The interior of the Q8 e-tron in Singapore is equipped with a 12.3-inch screen behind the steering wheel, two large screens in the middle (10.1 inches and 8.6 inches), HUD, Bang & Olufsen 16-speaker sound system, 4-zone automatic air conditioning, large panoramic sunroof… This model has 2 rows of seats and 5 seating positions.

The version distributed in Vietnam is the Q8 55 e-tron with an electric motor producing 402 horsepower, 664 Nm of torque, combined with Quattro all-wheel drive. According to the company’s previous announcement, this version has a range of about 600 km when fully charged.

According to information from sales consultants, Audi Q8 e-tron and other Audi electric vehicles in Vietnam will use the EV One charging system. According to EV One’s plan, there will be more than 100 charging stations installed by the end of this year. This charging station can charge not only Audi electric vehicles but also other electric cars.
