In order to achieve these goals, L14 stated that in December 2023, the company won the bids for 2 projects, including the Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang expressway (122 billion VND) and the connection road in Mu Cang Chai (Yen Bai) to the Noi Bai – Lao Cai expressway (43 billion VND). These two projects will start construction in 2024.

The Tuyen Quang – Ha Giang expressway project has a section that stretches through Tuyen Quang province for 77km. It is a group A transportation project, included in the road transport network plan for the period 2021-2030 and vision to 2050, approved by the Prime Minister and assigned to the People’s Committee of Ha Giang province to approve the investment project.

The total investment capital of the project is 6.8 trillion VND, of which 4.497 trillion VND is from the central budget and nearly 2.303 trillion VND is from the local budget.

Regarding the Nam Minh Phuong urban area project, L14 is still in the process of negotiating compensation payments.

On December 27, 2023, L14 made adjustments to the production and business plan for 2023, with some indicators decreasing compared to the plan approved at the annual general meeting in 2023.

According to the adjusted plan, the total revenue of L14 in 2023 will be 156 billion VND, a decrease of 20% compared to the initial plan. The largest contribution will still come from construction and other activities, with a total revenue of 114 billion VND, while financial and real estate activities will contribute 30 billion VND and 12 billion VND in revenue, respectively.

Finally, L14 is expected to have a remaining profit of 20 billion VND after tax and contribute 8 billion VND to the state budget, a decrease of 20% and 47% respectively compared to the initial plan. Thanks to the reduction, L14 can now exceed the 20% target for after-tax profit set for the whole year 2023, with a profit of over 24 billion VND (an increase of nearly 28% compared to 2022).
