Bank selling Mercedes-Benz car, starting price over 4.5 billion VND.

Agribank, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, is pleased to announce the auction of a Mercedes-Benz car.

Specifically, the GLS400 4MATIC car is being offered for sale with a starting price of 4.58 billion Vietnamese dong, not including corporate income tax or personal income tax, value-added tax and various fees, transfer fees, use fees and other types of fees.

In addition to the sale cost, auctioned collateral assets in accordance with the law will be deducted from the proceeds from the auction of the assets.

Recently, Agribank has been offering for sale many debts with valuable collateral assets. For example, the bank announced the 8th auction of a debt from guest company Cauvery River Cruise. This business owns the Royal Center project (Swisstouches La Luna Resort) in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.

The collateral assets include 690 apartments and a penthouse garden on the 36th floor; basement and 35 floors of commercial business in Vinh Hoa Urban Area, Vinh Hoa Ward, Nha Trang City. All are future-formed assets. The starting price for this debt is 948 billion dong.

Previously, in September 2023, Agribank auctioned this debt with a starting price of 1.145 trillion dong. Thus, within just 6 months, the debt has been reduced by 197 billion dong.

Similarly, VietinBank also announced the auction of debt from guest company Cauvery River Cruise. The total outstanding loan as of January 16th is 646.4 billion dong. Of which, the principal debt is nearly 496 billion dong, and the interest debt is over 160 billion dong.

The loan is secured by 11 collateral assets related to the Royal Center project (Swisstouches La Luna Resort) in Nha Trang City. The collateral assets and the company’s debt are being auctioned off by the bank with a starting price of more than 698 billion dong, a 10% decrease compared to the initial starting price on January 16th.
