As part of the 31st session of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, a day has been dedicated to questioning and answering. Two selected groups of issues fall under the domains of finance and diplomacy.

On the morning of March 18th, Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc will answer the first group of issues, which include: management and oversight of insurance business activities and life insurance service activities.

Additionally, the appraisal and licensing of financial services companies will be discussed, along with the enforcement of laws related to lottery, gambling, casinos, and electronic gaming activities with rewards. The management of pricing and decision-making regarding prices of goods and services, which are listed in the national price schedule, will also be covered.

In the afternoon, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son will answer the second group of issues, which include: the protection of Vietnamese citizens abroad; violations of laws committed by Vietnamese citizens abroad and by foreign nationals in Vietnam; protection of legitimate rights and interests of Vietnamese fishermen.

The session will also address the management, organization, capacity-building, and qualification enhancement of the foreign affairs sector. Measures to enhance anti-corruption efforts and eliminate negative aspects in diplomatic activities will be discussed as well.

Minister of Foreign Affairs will provide updates on the implementation of bilateral and multilateral agreements, as well as solutions to promote the implementation of economic, trade, and investment cooperation agreements. Support for expanding export markets and preventing Vietnamese businesses from being deceived will also be addressed. Efforts to promote and advertise tourism in Vietnam to the world, as well as the exemption of visa requirements for citizens of certain countries to encourage tourism development, will be discussed.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang and several other ministers will participate in explaining related matters during the session.

The session will take place in the Dien Hong Meeting Room of the National Assembly. It will be connected online to the delegations of the National Assembly members from provinces and cities, and will be broadcasted live via television.
