The Vị Thanh market is located at the foot of Cái Nhúc Bridge, Vị Thanh City, Hậu Giang Province. This is a market specializing in agricultural products, which has been serving local farmers for over 10 years, with each person having a sales area of 2-4 square meters.

The market is bustling, starting early and ending early. Usually, from around 4 a.m., the merchants have set up their stalls and disperse around 9 a.m., when the sun is high. When the market starts, each stall usually has a portable lamp, serving both the sellers to prepare their goods and to facilitate the buyers’ selection.

The traders selling at the market are local residents or those living nearby. They bring and sell their own agricultural products, shrimp, and fish they grow or catch themselves.

With an area of over 700 square meters, when viewed from above, the colorful stalls are neatly arranged, creating convenient paths for buyers. The vendors usually sit in the middle of their stalls to oversee their merchandise and facilitate their business transactions.
