Of which, Pham Nhat Vuong’s company will invest $200 million to build a production plant with an annual capacity of up to 50,000 electric cars in Indonesia. This is VinFast’s third plant, in addition to the main plant in Hai Phong and a plant in North Carolina, USA, scheduled to start construction in 2025.

When operational, the plant in Indonesia will ensure meeting local market demands, as well as enhance VinFast’s supply chain and global competitiveness.
