On the international market, the price of gold is moving around 2,150-2,165 USD/ounce. Converted at the USD exchange rate at banks, the world gold price is equivalent to 64.5 million VND/tael, while converted at the USD exchange rate on the free market is equivalent to 66.5 million VND/tael.
From the level of 2,200 USD/ounce to the current level, the world gold price has been under pressure recently after US inflation data was announced last week.
