The film “Đào, Phở và Piano” and the film “MAI” by director Trấn Thành are currently the two hottest works in cinemas nationwide. However, in stark contrast to MAI, which has dozens of screenings each day at all cinemas, “Đào, Phở và Piano” has a limited number of screenings. Currently, this film is only screened at a single complex, the National Cinema Center.

The film “Đào, Phở và Piano” is a motion picture by director Phi Tiến Sơn commissioned by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Film Department, and produced by Film Production Joint Stock Company I, inspired by the 60-day battle at the end of 1946 and early 1947 in Hanoi. Before its release on the occasion of Tet, the film won the Silver Lotus Award at the 23rd Vietnam Film Festival in November 2023.

However, recently, in an interview with Văn Hóa newspaper, Chairman of Beta Group Bùi Quang Minh – known as Minh Beta and an investor on the program Shark Tank Vietnam – expressed the company’s desire to screen the film “Đào, Phở và Piano” at 18 Beta Cinemas. Thus, this film can reach a larger audience in the near future.
