The Latest Agribank’s Interest Rates for March 2024: Best Interest Rates for 24-month Deposits

According to Agribank's latest interest rate survey, the highest deposit interest rate is 4.9% p.a. for individual customers with a 24-month term.

In early March 2024, Agribank’s interest rates for individual customers with end-of-term interest payment ranged from 1.7% – 4.9% per year.

Specifically, deposits with terms of 1 – 2 months have an interest rate of 1.7% per year. The interest rate for terms of 3 – 5 months is 2% per year. The interest rate for terms of 6 – 11 months is 3% per year.

Deposits with longer terms, from 12 to 18 months, will receive an interest rate of 4.8% per year.

The highest interest rate of 4.9% per year is applied for a term of 24 months.

On the other hand, non-term deposits or using transaction accounts will receive a low interest rate of 0.2% per year.

Agribank’s interest rates for corporate customers

For corporate customers, Agribank’s deposit interest rates range from 1.7% – 4.2% per year, with end-of-term interest payment.

Specifically, the interest rate for deposits with terms of 1 – 2 months is 1.7% per year. For terms of 3 – 5 months, the interest rate is 2% per year. For terms of 6 – 11 months, the interest rate is 3% per year.

Deposits with longer terms, from 12 to 24 months, will have an interest rate of 4.2% per year. Currently, this is the highest interest rate applied by Agribank for corporate customers.

In addition, there is a fixed interest rate of 0.2% per year for non-term deposits and transaction accounts.

Agribank is the bank with the largest transaction network and customer deposits in the system. The latest published data shows that Agribank’s total capital mobilization in 2023 reached over VND 1.88 million trillion.

Agribank’s credit scale at the end of 2023 is VND 1.55 million trillion, second only to BIDV (VND 1.79 million trillion), higher than VietinBank (VND 1.48 million trillion) and Vietcombank (VND 1.28 million trillion).

Agribank’s total assets by the end of 2023 have surpassed VND 2 million trillion. The bank estimates the pre-tax profit for the whole year to be around VND 25,300 – 25,400 billion, an increase of 14.5 – 15% compared to the previous year.
