Yamaha Indonesia has recently launched the 2024 version of the Gear 125 scooter model. In the new version, the Yamaha Gear 125 remains unchanged in terms of specifications, features, and design. The only difference is the new paint color and graphics, which are considered attractive and give the scooter a sportier look.
The 2024 Yamaha Gear 125 is available in two variants: Standard and S. This scooter has dimensions of 1,870 x 685 x 1,060 mm (length x width x height), a wheelbase of 1,260 mm, a seat height of 750 mm, and a ground clearance of 160 mm. These dimensions are almost similar to the Honda Vision scooter.
The scooter is still equipped with a single disc brake in the front and a drum brake in the rear. The front suspension is telescopic forks and the rear suspension is a mono-shock. It still has an electric start button and a kickstart pedal. Both wheels feature 14-inch alloy wheels with 5-spoke design. The front tire size is 70/90 and the rear tire size is 80/90, but it does not have an anti-lock braking system (ABS).
The Standard variant of the 2024 Yamaha Gear 125 is available in 5 different color options. The S variant is available in Matte Blue and Matte Red with graphic changes and yellow accents to create a modern impression.
Providing power for the Yamaha Gear 125 is the Blue Core 125cc engine, which produces 9.3 horsepower at 8,000 rpm and 9.5 Nm of torque.
In the Indonesian market, the Standard variant of the Yamaha Gear 125 has a respective price of 18.55 million IDR and 19.22 million IDR (approximately 29.3 million VND and 30.3 million VND).
