Binh Dinh expects to earn around 5,000 billion from land auctions in 2024

Bình Định Province is planning to auction off a series of land funds in 2024, with an estimated revenue of nearly 5,000 billion VND.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province has just issued a decision approving the plan to auction land use rights and leasing of land in 2024 for land funds managed by the province.

Specifically, the Provincial Land Development Center will offer 26 land funds for auction in 2024 with a total auction area of about 30 hectares (670 lots). It is expected to successfully auction about 254 lots (almost 24 hectares), bringing in VND 2,100 billion.

Some notable land lots include the Long Van new urban area (Zone A1,2), Tran Quang Dieu ward, Quy Nhon City; affordable housing residential area in Nhon Binh ward; commercial apartment building on Nguyen Trong Tri street, Nhon Binh ward, etc.

In addition, the Provincial Land Clearance Committee will auction 9 land funds of about 17 hectares (963 lots). It is expected to successfully auction about 415 lots (over 6 hectares), bringing in about VND 325 billion.

Most of the projects managed by the Provincial Land Clearance Committee are resettlement areas such as the residential area at the warehouse cluster along National Highway 1D; resettlement area serving the project of the Western provincial road (DT.638) and projects in Canh Vinh commune, Van Canh district (phase 1); resettlement area in Tan Thanh hamlet, Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district, serving the coastal road project (DT.639) from Cat Tien to De Gi; resettlement area in Tan Thang hamlet, Cat Hai commune, Phu Cat district, serving the coastal road project (DT.639) from Cat Tien to De Gi, etc.

In addition, the Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone will auction 8 land funds with a total area of 125 hectares (223 lots), expected to be auctioned in 2024 are 21 lots (over 121 hectares), with an estimated revenue of over VND 2,532 billion.

Some projects include the Southwest urban area in Nhon Ly commune; Eo Gio ecological tourism area; Golf Academy resort villa area; point 2 (2-1) and (2-2), Nhon Ly – Cat Tien coastal tourist area, etc.

The People’s Committee of Binh Dinh province noted that after approving the plan for auctioning land use rights and leasing land, the units urgently review and develop plans and decision on auction, determine the starting price to submit to the People’s Committee of the province for approval to organize the auction of land use rights and leasing land according to regulations and the time for implementing the auction in 2024.

At the same time, focus on speeding up the compensation for ground clearance and investment in technical infrastructure of the remaining land fund in 2023 and land funds in 2024 to timely implement relevant procedures submitted to the People’s Committee of the province for approval as a basis for organizing the auction of land use rights and leasing land to contribute to the state budget in 2024.

For land implementing investment projects, the units will review and prepare related procedures (investment policy, auction criteria, plan and decision on auction, determining the starting price, etc.) to submit to the People’s Committee of the province for approval to organize the auction of land use rights and leasing land in accordance with regulations.
