Defendant Nguyen Van Hau (“Hau Phao”)
On February 26, 2024, the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security (C03) initiated a prosecution for the offense of “Serious consequences caused by violations of accounting regulations” at Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company, Thang Long Investment and Trading Real Estate Joint Stock Company and related units; initiating prosecution and temporary detention against 06 defendants.
Specifically:
(1) Nguyen Van Hau (commonly known as “Hau Phao”), born in 1981, currently residing in Bo De Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi; occupation: Chairman of the Board of Directors of Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company
(2) Nguyen Thi Hang, born in 1977; current address: Tam Phuc commune, Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc; occupation: Deputy General Director of Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company;
(3) Do Thi Mai, born in 1985; current address: Vinh Tuong town, Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc; occupation: Chief Accountant of Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company;
(4) Hoang Thi Tuyet Hanh, born in 1987; current address: Tam Hong commune, Yen Lac district, Vinh Phuc; occupation: Accountant of Phuc Son Group Joint Stock Company;
(5) Tran Huu Dinh, born in 1981, currently residing in Tam Phuc commune, Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc; occupation: Director of Nam A Group Investment Joint Stock Company.
(6) Nguyen Hong Son, born in 1995; currently residing in Tam Phuc commune, Vinh Tuong district, Vinh Phuc; occupation: Freelancer.
The above defendants have been prosecuted for their acts of forgery, false declaration, keeping off-the-books accounting of revenue, related assets… causing particularly serious damage to the State, in violation of Article 3, Article 221 of the Penal Code 2015 (2017 amended and supplemented).
After the Supreme People’s Procuracy approved the above-mentioned Decisions, Indictments, the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security has promptly and correctly implemented the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code.
Currently, the Criminal Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security is continuing to urgently investigate and verify evidence to clarify the criminal acts of the defendants who have been prosecuted, the acts of the related parties, verifying assets for recovery, seizure, as prescribed by law.
