According to information from the Ministry of Public Security, 9 suspects have been prosecuted and arrested, including:
– Mr. Le Duy Thanh – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province and Ms. Hoang Thi Thuy Loan – Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council of Vinh Phuc, both charged with “Accepting bribes”.

– Mr. Dang Van Minh – Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai province, and Mr. Cao Khoa – former Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ngai province, both charged with “Accepting bribes”.

– Mr. Ha Hoang Viet Phuong, Head of Dung Quat Economic Zone Management Board, former Director General of the Department of Transport of Quang Ngai province; Mr. Pham Ngoc Thuy, Director of the Department of Transport; Mr. Le Quoc Dat, Director of the Project Management Board for Construction Investment of Transportation Works, former Head of the Investment Management Division of the Department of Transport of Quang Ngai province; Mr. Pham Ngoc Cuong, Deputy General Director of Phuc Son Group, all charged with “Serious violations of bidding regulations”.

– Mr. Dang Trung Hoanh, Chief of the Party Committee’s Office of Mang Thit district, Vinh Long province, charged with “Exploiting influence for personal gain”.

Currently, the Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security is consolidating documents and evidence regarding the misconduct of the prosecuted suspects. At the same time, the investigation of the case is being expanded to clarify other violations by Phuc Son Group in various localities and related units. Appropriate measures will be applied in accordance with the law to completely recover state assets.
The Investigation Agency of the Ministry of Public Security calls on all individuals involved in this case to promptly surrender, report the crime, and remedy the consequences in order to benefit from the leniency policy of the law.
