VPBank Increases Interest Rates on Short-Term Savings Accounts Effective Today, April 19

VPBank has just increased interest rates on savings at certain terms.

VPBank Savings Interest Rates have just changed, officially effective from April 19th. Accordingly, this bank adjusted the savings interest rates for 1-5 month terms for deposits under 10 billion VND, with an increase of 0.2-0.3 percentage points.

Specifically, the savings interest rate for 1-month term is currently listed at 2.7%/year. The savings interest rate for 2-5 month terms is 3%/year. The old interest rate was 2.4%/year.

VPBank keeps the saving interest rates for the remaining terms unchanged. The interest rate for 6-11 month term is 4.2%/year, 12-18 month term is 4.8%/year, and 24-36 month term is 5.2%/year.

For deposits from 10 billion VND to under 50 billion VND, VPBank will add 0.1%/year interest rate. The bank will add 0.2%/year interest rate for deposits from 50 billion VND or more.

VPBank applies the interest rate table for deposits at the counter with an interest rate that is 0.1%/year lower than the online interest rate table.

Previously, on April 10, VPBank also increased saving interest rates for all terms on April 10. The bank increased an additional 0.3 percentage points of interest rates for terms from 12-36 months.

On March 27, VPBank also increased saving interest rates for some terms. In which, the interest rate for 1-month term deposits increased slightly by 0.1 percentage points, while the interest rate for 2-36 month term deposits increased by 0.2 percentage points.
