An advertisement for a workshop named “Economic workshop and issues in business investment” is spreading on social media. The workshop is said to have the participation of Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong – Chairman of Vingroup and Mr. Hoang Nam Tien – Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT University. The workshop will discuss opportunities for exchange, cooperation, and support among new startups and businesses operating in the same industry.
Billionaire Pham Nhat Vuong is someone who almost never appears at external events. The last time Mr. Vuong participated in a workshop was nearly 8 years ago, at a workshop organized by Viettel Group in July 2016.
According to the advertisement, the workshop will be held for over 12 hours, from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM on May 23, 2024, at the My Dinh National Convention Center, and from 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM on May 28, 2024, at the Saigon Convention and Exhibition Center.
The workshop will sell tickets to attendees, with the lowest-priced ticket being VIP1 at 5 million VND and the highest-priced ticket being VIP4 at 50 million VND.
According to a representative of Vingroup, this is fake and inaccurate information.
Mr. Hoang Nam Tien also posted a fraud warning on his personal page.
