Customers owning VinFast petrol cars and electric cars will be committed to buy back at an attractive price based on a fixed annual depreciation rate. Customers owning petrol cars of other brands are also supported by Cho Tot to buy back to facilitate the switch to VinFast electric cars.

Following the success of the “Trade in Used Petrol Motorbikes – Upgrade to New Electric Motorbikes” program launched in late March 2024, the “Trade in Used – Upgrade to New Electric Cars” program implemented by VinFast and Cho Tot will provide customers with the opportunity to switch from petrol cars of all brands to VinFast electric cars easily with optimal benefits. VinFast electric car owners who want to upgrade to more advanced car lines will also have a reliable address to sell used cars with the best committed price in the market.

Specifically, customers owning VinFast petrol and electric car lines will be committed by Cho Tot to buy back at the remaining value based on the fixed annual depreciation rate, up to 88% compared to the current listed selling price. For customers owning petrol cars of other brands, Cho Tot also commits to buy back at a transparent price compared to the market, providing services at home or directly at VinFast’s designated showrooms, helping customers conveniently and quickly in selling old petrol cars and switching to new VinFast electric cars.

In particular, when buying a new VinFast electric car, customers who sell their old car to Cho Tot will enjoy the additional “3 best” interest rate incentive policy that VinFast is implementing in the “Fierce Vietnamese Spirit 2” program, namely: longest loan term – up to 8 years; the largest loan value – up to 80% of the car price; and the most attractive loan interest rate. The amount that customers have to pay to the bank each month is calculated according to the fixed annuity method, which does not fluctuate with market developments, helping customers take the initiative in their personal financial plans. In particular, if not paying in installments but choosing the direct payment method, customers will be entitled to a 4% discount on the car price.

Speaking about the “Trade in Used – Upgrade to New Electric Cars” program in cooperation with Cho Tot, Ms. Duong Thi Thu Trang – General Director of VinFast Vietnam Market said: “One of the barriers that make some customers not ready to switch to using electric cars is because they have difficulty in transferring their current car. The cooperation model between VinFast and Cho Tot provides customers with a total solution with many benefits such as being able to sell their old car at a good price, and easily buy a new car with attractive incentives. I believe that this model will also be well received by the majority of customers and will become a motivation for more and more people to boldly switch to electric cars, similar to the program with electric motorbikes that we are implementing”.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Tan – General Director of Cho Tot said: “As a trading platform that has been with Vietnamese people for more than 10 years, Cho Tot has seen the increasing demand for electric vehicles recently. Electric vehicles are no longer a trend of the future but a need of the present. With the expanded cooperation with VinFast for both motorbikes and electric cars, we want to bring more opportunities for Vietnamese people to switch to electric vehicles with optimal costs and many incentives throughout the process. usage. Our goal is to help many Vietnamese people own modern, safe and environmentally friendly electric vehicles, contributing to positive changes in traffic and the urban environment in Vietnam”.
