MG HS Discounts of Up to $3,000
According to a sales consultant in Bac Ninh, the price of MG HS is being reduced by 70 million VND for all versions at the dealership. Thus, the cheapest price to own this C-segment SUV is 629 million VND.

This is not a program from the manufacturer but only from the dealership, so the discount is not uniform.
MG HS continues to be discounted.
MG HS Price Competitive with Lower Segment Models
The discounted price of the MG HS not only competes with rivals such as the Mazda CX-5 or Hyundai Tucson but is also lower than many B-segment models. Notably, the Mitsubishi Xforce Exceed version has a niêm yết price of 640 million. Or the Hyundai Creta Special Edition is priced at 650 million VND, but the discounted price at the dealership is around 629 million, comparable to the HS.
Mitsubishi Xforce recorded “impressive” sales in the first month of sales.
Currently, the MG HS’s biggest rival in the Vietnamese market is the Mazda CX-5. In the first quarter of 2024, Mazda’s C-segment SUV sold 2,319 units, accounting for over 40% of the segment’s market share. Following are the Ford Territory (1,212 units) and the Honda CR-V (1,080 units).
Mazda CX-5 is still the most popular car in the C-segment SUV segment in Vietnam.
HS in particular and all MG car models in general do not publish sales figures in the Vietnamese market.
MG HS Sold in Vietnam is Upgraded Version
The MG HS 2024 was launched in the Vietnamese market in late January 2024. This is the second discount from dealers after more than 3 months of the car’s launch.
Front of the car is designed similarly to MG5.
HS is a facelift upgrade. This version has a few changes in the exterior, such as the new LED light cluster, a larger grille similar to the MG5 style, and a new 5-spoke 18-inch wheel set. The overall size and shape of the car remain the same compared to the old version sold by the previous distributor.
Dimensions of length x width x height of the car are 4,574 x 1,876 x 1,664 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,720 mm.
The HS’s interior is largely unchanged from before. Some of the notable amenities in the car include an all-digital display after the steering wheel, a 10-inch central display, Bose sound, sporty seats, 2-zone automatic air conditioning, and a panoramic sunroof.
