According to Forbes’ World Billionaires List as of February 24, the net worth of Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang – Chairman of Masan Group (Masan Group, MCK: MSN) has returned to the $1 billion mark.

In fact, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang has been on the Forbes billionaire list for many years. His net worth reached its highest level according to Forbes’ rankings, which was $1.9 billion in April 2022.

However, due to the fluctuation of MSN stock, the net worth of Masan Group’s Chairman also fluctuates. Therefore, Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang has entered and exited the Forbes billionaire list.

Just in January 2024 alone, the net worth of this businessman changed multiple times, causing Mr. Nguyen Dang Quang to return to Forbes’ billionaire list (on January 3) and then leave this list a few days later.

With the return of Masan Group’s Chairman Nguyen Dang Quang, Vietnam now has 6 billionaires on Forbes’ list.

At the top position is still Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong – Chairman of Vingroup.

Other billionaires on the list include Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao – Chairwoman of VietJet (VJC), Mr. Tran Dinh Long – Chairman of Hoa Phat Group (HPG), Mr. Tran Ba Duong – Chairman of Thaco Group, Mr. Ho Hung Anh – Chairman of Techcombank (TCB).
