According to information from MacRumors, the Apple support community has received numerous reports of Bluetooth connection issues that iPhone 15 users have encountered since the release of the phone.
Some customers have reported difficulties maintaining a Bluetooth connection with older devices, such as car audio systems or wireless headphones.
One specific case shared by a user on the MacRumors forum is that after upgrading to the iOS 17 operating system, the iPhone 15 cannot maintain a stable connection with the Bluetooth system of a 2014 BMW. This is especially problematic during hands-free calls, as the call is interrupted after a few seconds and users have to switch to the phone’s external speaker to continue the call.
This person also mentioned that previous iOS versions also experienced similar issues. However, they were resolved after a few updates. But this time, despite two updates, Apple has not yet fixed the problem.
The connection issues are not limited to older devices, but also occur with newer products such as AirPods. Some iPhone 15 users have reported issues when connecting to AirPods Max and Beats Studio Buds, with calls frequently disconnecting after 5 to 10 minutes, despite trying various methods to improve the situation.
