Tether has announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Agency of Project Management and Development (NAPP), the agency responsible for overseeing and developing cryptocurrencies in the Republic of Uzbekistan. This strategic partnership aims to establish Uzbekistan as a hub for peer-to-peer technology and blockchain, igniting a revolution in innovation and economic growth. It also highlights Tether’s commitment to promoting a global strategy in building resilient cities and nations worldwide.

This collaboration aims to explore and promote the development and application of blockchain technology, stablecoins, and digital asset tokenization in Uzbekistan, while also stimulating economic growth and innovation in the region.
