Top 10 Stocks with the Biggest Gains/Losses of the Week: “The Kingpin” of Industrial Parks Stocks Surges, One Stock Skyrockets by 76%

Top 10 stocks with the strongest gains on the HOSE exchange have seen the highest increase of 25% and the lowest increase of 13%.

The stock market continues to experience strong fluctuations in the trading week, with a dominant trend of recovery, especially strong correction pressure in the last 2 sessions at the resistance level of 1,280 points, causing the Index to reverse down. Ending the trading week of 11-15/3, the VN-Index still rose 1.32% compared to the previous week to the level of 1,263.78 points.

On HOSE, the group of stocks with the strongest increase had a dominant increase compared to the group with a decrease. The top 10 stocks with the strongest increase recorded the highest increase at 25% and the lowest at 13%.

The TCO stock of TCO Holdings Joint Stock Company suddenly “surfaced” after a long time of stagnation with 3 consecutive limit-up sessions to climb to 11,800 VND/ share, increasing by 25% after a week of trading and being the highest level in the past 5 months. The liquidity of this stock dramatically increased in the last session with several hundred thousand units matched, while the average was only a few thousand units.

Notably, GVR of Vietnam Rubber Industry Group also recorded a week of increase with an increase of 19%. In the past month, this stock has increased nearly 30% to its highest level in 27 months. The corresponding market capitalization increased nearly 32,000 billion VND, reaching about 138,400 billion VND.

The accelerating growth of the stock appeared after the company announced the 2024 Shareholders’ General Meeting documents with many notable information. Regarding business results, GVR set a plan for consolidation with a revenue of approximately 25,000 billion VND, a slight increase of 1% compared to the realization in 2023. After-tax profit increased by 2% to 3,437 billion VND. It is worth noting that GVR plans to pay a 3% dividend, equivalent to about 1,200 billion VND, the remaining 254 billion to be used to make provisions according to regulations.

In the downward direction, a series of stocks on HOSE recorded a widespread decrease of 5% to 9%, with the strongest selling pressure on SFG stock.

On HNX, the top 10 stocks with the strongest increase also had increases ranging from 18-57%. The stocks that gained points were mainly small-cap stocks with high speculative characteristics.

On UPCOM, due to wider trading range, a series of stocks also increased from 30% to 76% in the past week.

The strongest gainer of the week is BLF of Bac Lieu Seafood Joint Stock Company, which increased by the limit-up for the whole week with a 76% increase to 3,700 VND/share.

On the contrary, in the past week, many stocks on UPCOM also recorded decreases from 19% to 40%.
