Dividend Ex-Date Schedule For Week 22-26/4: Highest Cash Dividend of 25%

According to the statistics, there are 10 enterprises announcing dividend right closure in the week of 22– 26/04. In which, all 9 enterprises pay dividends in cash this week, the highest level is 25% and the lowest is 2%. In addition, there is 1 enterprise issuing additional shares this week.

Rang Dong Light Source & Vacuum Flask JSC (RAL – HOSE) announced that it will close the right to the second interim dividend payment of 2023 at a rate of 25% in cash on April 25. Accordingly, shareholders owning 1 share will receive VND 2,500, the implementation time is from May 9, 2024.

Previously, at the end of August 2023, Rang Dong had made the first interim dividend payment of 2023 also at a rate of 25% in cash. Thus, the total dividend distribution in 2023 through 2 interim payments is 50% in cash, this is the 6th consecutive year that the Company has maintained this dividend level for existing shareholders.

On April 25, Hoa Sen Group Corporation (HSG – HOSE) will close the list of shareholders to pay cash dividends for the fiscal year 2022-2023 at a rate of 5%, corresponding to 1 share receiving VND 500.

With approximately 616 million shares in circulation, Hoa Sen Group will have to spend about VND 308 billion to pay dividends to existing shareholders. The ex-dividend date is April 24, the expected dividend payment date is May 10.

Hoa Sen Group implemented the dividend payment plan after it was approved by the 2023-2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders on March 18. This dividend payment also marks HSG’s return to cash dividends, 6 years since the last time in 2018 for investors in 2016-2017. In recent years, HSG has always paid dividends in shares.

On April 25, Sonadezi Chau Duc JSC (SZC – HOSE) will close the list of shareholders to pay dividends in 2023 in cash at a rate of 10%, corresponding to shareholders owning 1 share will receive VND 1,000. The ex-dividend date is April 24, the expected dividend payment date is April 26, 2024.

Hanoi Educational Publishing Services JSC (EPH code) will make an interim dividend payment for 2023 in cash at a rate of 13% (VND 1,300/share). This is also the highest cash dividend payment since EPH shares were traded on UPCoM in 2017. With an implementation rate of 13% (VND 1,300/share) and 2.5 million shares in circulation, it is estimated that EPH will need to spend VND 3.25 billion to pay dividends for this period. The ex-dividend date is April 24 and the expected payment date is May 27, 2024.
